Hey there! My name's Emily Akers. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and certified makeup artist. I graduated from The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School in early 2012 as well as The Academy of Makeup in 2017. I specialize in balayage, color, cuts (both short and long), makeup, Glitterlites (hair tinsel) and eyebrow tinting. I love the idea of getting to know you before just “jumping into your appointment.” Tell me about your lifestyle, your hair or makeup frustrations and your hair/makeup dreams/goals! Give me all of the details. I schedule time to discuss your needs, develop a game plan and build a strong relationship with you, so we are always on the same page. I try my best to give you the 411 on what I’m doing, so that you’re well educated as a guest of mine. The possibilities are endless and can be as simple or daring as you’re comfortable going. SICK POLICY: If you or someone you are in close contact with is sick within 48 hours of your appointment, please cancel immediately. Cancellation Policy
Emphasized Beauty understands that sometimes schedules change and therefore requests at least 48 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. A credit card is required to hold your appointment. Appointments canceled within 48 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” for will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount.
